Automatic handover of shipments to partner couriers through API integration
In day-to-day courier operations, cost-efficient delivery sometimes requires handing selected shipments over to a partner courier service. With Deliveo’s Carrier Handover functionality, any shipment can be forwarded via API to another courier system, where the delivery continues seamlessly. All status updates are automatically returned to the Deliveo courier management software at regular intervals.
This mechanism also allows the interconnection of two Deliveo systems, ensuring smooth cooperation between independent courier networks.
The list of electronically integrated partner couriers is continuously expanding based on customer needs. Currently, Deliveo supports API-level handover with the following courier partners:
